🌹 Peter’s Rose 🌹

This beautiful rose was kindly gifted to us by Peter’s lovely wife, Carol, in memory of Peter after his sad passing. It holds such special meaning for everyone here at Broebrook Care Home, serving as a touching reminder of Peter and the happy memories we shared with him.

Meet the manager - Lucie Goodall

Lucie has worked in the care sector for 16 years, progressing through various caring roles before becoming a care home manager.

Lucie is highly experienced in specialist dementia care, with a deep understanding of how to support residents in a way that enhances their quality of life. She is also passionate about staff development, ensuring her team receives high-quality training to deliver excellent care.

Lucie believes in a personalised approach to care, ensuring that every resident’s unique preferences, routines and needs are respected. Under her leadership, the home ensures all care plans are tailored to individuals rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

Lucie is particularly passionate about creating a homely, welcoming atmosphere for both residents and their families.

Outside of work, Lucie is a mum to three girls and she owns a German Shepherd that is currently training as a therapy dog.
